The name of the Group shall be Monthly Leaders Luncheon
(the "Group"). The address of the group shall be 1200
New York Avenue, St. Cloud, FL 34769.
The objective of this organization is to increase
business with members through close contact networking
on a monthly basis. Further objective are to offer
business networking opportunities to non-competing
businesses; and to foster and promote a feeling of
fraternity and good will among its members and to
advance the welfare of each member's business. This will
be achieved by the passing of business leads and
utilizing the services of members of the group.
Members agree to conduct business in a professional
manner, to treat fellow members and their customers with
respect and courtesy and to furnish their services at
the terms agreed upon. When a lead is received, it is
imperative that follow-up is made as business permits.
Members of the Group must be members of the St. Cloud
Chamber of Commerce and be in good standings.
One individual per business classification shall be
allowed to become a member and said classification must
be their primary occupation. If two members within the
same group represent the same specialties the may decide
between each other, with approval of the Membership
Committee, which specialties the choose to represent so
there is no conflict. The Greater Osceola St. Cloud
Chamber of Commerce shall act as an advisory to the
Group and no dues will be collected for that seat.
An individual must visit a meeting one time before
submitting an application to the President. If a member
has a possible conflict with a perspective member, they
are to notify the membership committee to determine if
there is ant conflict with the current members. Upon
approval, new members will be notifies before the next
leads group meeting.
Ant members having two unforeseen absences within the
current calendar year will have their membership
reviewed by the officers and may be subject to
revocation. If the membership is revoked, the member
will be notified in writing. The member will then have
to reapply and pat the membership fee to rejoin.
Should a member be absent, he or she should be
represented by a substitute (from their own company), in
which the substitute is required to pass your lead on in
your absence. The membership committee may revoke a
member if problems occur do to their business practices
or non-compliance with the By-laws set forth herein.
A quorum shall consist of a majority of the officers (3)
and a majority of the paid membership should be present
when a vote is taken on any business,
Meetings shall be held every 1st Tuesday of every month.
The meeting shall begin promptly at 12 noon and end by
1:00 p.m. Members are expected to be on time and stay
for the length of the meeting. If a member leaves before
the "Passing of the Leads", they will be considered
There will be a ten-minute presentation by two of the
members at each meeting not to exceed 20 minutes in
total. Those individuals will be responsible for
bringing a door prize with a value of approximately
Every member will be required to give a one-minute
infomercial at the beginning of each meeting. They may
choose to only introduce themselves and their business.
The officers of the organization shall be a President,
Vice-President, Secretary and Timekeeper. Officers are
responsible for maintaining positive relationships
between members and integrity within the organization
and shall be meet at the call of the president to
discuss the status of the organization.
Officers will be chosen every calendar year and will
serve for the calendar year. Nominations for Officers
will be taken and voted on by the general membership.
President: Lead meetings, keep order, coordinate
activities, prepare agenda, maintain files containing
sign-in sheets, weekly minutes and leads which will be
available to members at all times and serves on the
Vice-President: Chairmen of the Membership Committee,
conducts meetings in the absence of the President. The
Vice-President will serve as Chairman of the Membership
Committee and will call meetings as deemed necessary.
Secretary: Accurate minutes, passes weekly sign-in
sheets, and keeps membership directory up-to-date. Types
correspondence as necessary and serves on the Membership
Treasurer: Maintains bank account, expenses, membership
dues, etc. Reports monthly to the Group and serves on
the Membership Committee.
Timekeeper: Keeps time for infomercials, keeps
attendance log, notifies members of unexcused absences
after three consecutive or six within a six month
period. The timekeeper will be a member of the
Officers shall meet at the call of the President to
discuss the status of the organization.
The annual dues shall be $30.00 from January 1st through
December 31st. Membership fees shall be due during the
month of January and if not paid by February 1st their
membership will be terminated, at the discretion of the
Officers. A business joining the group within the first
six months of the year will pay full dues; those joining
within 30 days of the next fiscal year will receive one
month free membership.
All dues for this organization are to be used for
supplies, advertising, promotional items or as
determined by the membership. Dues from this
organization will be held in a separate account with the
Bank of Record.
